Industrial Visit

Industrial Tour: Port of Hai Phong, Wednesday 8th July 2026 (07:00- 15:00)

Established in 1874, the Port of Hai Phong is transforming into Northern Vietnam’s premier green, digital, and deep-sea logistics hub. Its infrastructure expansion includes deep-sea berths at Lach Huyen that accommodate mega-vessels up to 160,000 DWT. This physical scale is optimized by advanced digital systems like CATOS and CHESS, which automate yard scheduling and streamline workflows. By pairing deep-water capabilities with smart automation, the port minimizes vessel turnaround times and carbon footprints, setting up a regional benchmark for sustainable, tech-driven maritime operations.
