Tran Thanh Hai

Deputy Director General, Agency of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam
Tran Thanh Hai is a distinguished policymaker, strategist, and a leading authority on trade and logistics infrastructure in Southeast Asia. He currently serves as the Deputy Director General of the Agency of Foreign Trade under the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) of Vietnam, where he has been a core architect of the nation’s logistics development strategies for over a decade.
At the ministry, Mr. Hai spearheads national initiatives aimed at modernizing supply chains, improving cross-border trade facilitation, and integrating digital solutions into regional logistics networks. He is the driving force behind major national platforms, including the annual Viet Nam Logistics Forum, and was instrumental in establishing Vietnam’s official National Logistics Day to elevate the sector’s economic importance.
Beyond his government portfolio, Mr. Hai is deeply committed to closing the industry’s talent gap. He serves as the Honorary President of the Vietnam Logistics Human Resource Development Association (VALOMA), bridging the gap between state policy, academia, and private enterprise. He holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at the National University of Singapore.

Dr Dinh Huu Thanh

Co-Founder, Chairman & CEO, Bee Logistics Corporation
Dr Dinh Huu Thanh (Henry Dinh) is a visionary entrepreneur and a leading figure in the Southeast Asian logistics sector. As the co-founder, Chairman, and CEO of Bee Logistics Corporation, he has spent over two decades shaping the landscape of international freight forwarding and supply chain management in the region.
Since establishing Bee Logistics in 2004, Mr. Thanh has successfully transformed a local start-up into a global multinational brand. Today, the company ranks among Vietnam’s top 10 international logistics providers, boasting a comprehensive network of offices across Southeast Asia, India, and strategic global hubs.
At the forefront of industry transformation, Mr. Thanh is a strong advocate for supply chain digitalization, operational transparency, and sustainable logistics solutions. Under his strategic leadership, Bee Logistics has earned widespread regional acclaim, including the prestigious ASEAN Business Award. Recognized for his leadership excellence, he was also awarded the esteemed ASEAN Global Leadership Program scholarship.

Dr Yap Kwong Weng

CEO of Vietnam SuperPort© & Head of Strategy, Sustainability, and Communications, YCH Group
Dr Yap Kwong Weng is the CEO of Vietnam SuperPort©, a joint venture between YCH Group and the Vietnamese conglomerate T&T Group. Dr Yap also leads the Strategy, Sustainability, and Communications Division at YCH Group. He was previously Head of Transformation at Sembcorp Industries, a leading renewables player and an established industrial and urban solutions provider in Asia. He led the development of Sembcorp’s urban business, focusing on its industrial park strategy and sustainable development. Before Sembcorp, Dr Yap held business consulting roles in KPMG and Ernst & Young as an Executive Director, and set up the KPMG -A*STAR joint lab, a first in professional services. In industry, he held management positions in Southeast Asia, co -founded a tech/crypto travel start – up in Vietnam, and led the development of a strategic seaport in Myanmar when it first opened up. Earlier in his career, Dr Yap served as a commando officer for over a decade, where he also graduated from the grueling US Navy SEAL training course in San Diego. Dr Yap was named a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum and was awarded the Rotary Peace Fellowship (Chulalongkorn University) in 2012. He currently serves as a council member of the Singapore Red Cross and on boards and committees under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Singapore Prison Service. He was also a board member of the Singapore Nanjing Eco High -tech Island, and is currently a board member of Global Dignity, an international non-profit organization. Dr Yap holds a PhD from the University of Glasgow, along with master’s degrees from the University of Cambridge, the University of Manchester, and the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy.
